What is ProperGate?+
ProperGate is a construction logistics platform that uses the project programme to plan deliveries, unloading, material movements and plant availability, then gives that plan to everyone it affects. It has a company in Riyadh.
How is ProperGate different from Primavera P6?+
P6 plans the project’s work; ProperGate plans the logistics that has to keep pace with it. We import the programme from P6 and leave it unchanged.
Does ProperGate operate in Saudi Arabia yet?+
We have a company in Riyadh and are preparing our first deployments in the Kingdom together with international consultancies. Our first Middle East project was delivered in Dubai in 2019.
What does ProperGate cover beyond material deliveries?+
Beyond deliveries, ProperGate covers plant and plant hire, formwork and scaffolding, pours and precast, laydown and stores, fuel, water and waste, procurement, risk, logistics inspections and meeting actions.
Does ProperGate support linear projects such as roads and rail?+
Yes. The plan and deliveries are broken down by work section, and spoil removal is planned alongside incoming material in one schedule.
Do drivers need to install an app?+
No. Drivers receive a delivery card by link or on paper, with a QR code, gate and unloading point, in their own language.
Which languages does the platform support?+
The interface is available in Arabic (with full right-to-left layout), English, Polish, German and Spanish. The driver card is also available in Urdu and Turkish.
Does ProperGate integrate with ERP systems?+
Yes. We integrate with ERP systems, the P6 programme, BIM models and transport systems, and delivery documents can flow into the ERP automatically.
Does ProperGate help with ESG reporting?+
Yes. Embodied carbon of materials, transport emissions and waste management feed into reports in the format investors and certifiers expect.
Does ProperGate work for concrete and precast producers?+
Yes. Producers get their own portal for orders and dispatch, a driver app, and a portal for their customers.
How do you plan deliveries around Riyadh’s night truck window?+
Every delivery gets a slot in the night window together with its gate, crane and unloading zone, and the plan holds a next slot in case unloading fails.
What happens when a delivery fails under a 48-hour booking rule?+
Without a back-up slot ready, the truck can’t return for at least three days. That’s why, in our method, every failed delivery gets its next slot straight away.
